Calligraphy Performance for CEOs

I'm happy to meet you.

My name is Kwon Sang Ho, a Korean calligrapher.

Moreover, it is my honor to perform calligraphy in front of CEOs from overseas who have visited Samsung Electronics.

Calligraphy is one of the traditional arts in the East.

In general, there are five types of Hanja characters.

Seal script(봉인 서체직인 서체전서)

Clerical script(사무적 서체예서)

Regular script(규칙적 고정 서체해서)

Walking script(Running script, 달리는 글씨체행서)

Cursive script(필기체초서)

Today, I will try to write the word '同舟共濟'(동주공제, Dong Ju Gong Je)' by seal script letter style.

The meaning is "Let's cross the river together on the same boat."

Then from now on, I will try to write it myself, explaining the contents of the letter.

This brush I'm holding is a traditional Korean pen, 'But(붓)'

I'm sure you can guess all the symbolic content of this article.

(Dong) : Bamboo has the same shape in every joint. same’. '' means that the bamboo core is empty. To live together in a cave cave(동굴, 洞窟)

(Ju) : boat, ship

(Gong) : The heavy box must be lifted with both hands. ‘together’

(Je) : The grain is growing evenly across the river. To cross a river side by side by helping each other. ‘cross a river’

(All the visitors enjoyed my neat brushwork.)

I hope you have a good time.

Thank you.
