索居閒處(색거한처) (벼슬을 그만두고) 거처를 찾되 한가한 곳으로 하며
沈黙寂寥(침묵적요) (세상일에) 침묵하며 적요하게 살리라.
求古尋論(구고심론) 옛 성현의 저서를 찾아 계속하여 의론하며,
散慮逍遙(산려소요) 세속의 잡념은 흩어버리고 (자연 속에서) 소요하며 살아가리.
欣奏累遣(흔주누견) 기쁨은 모으고 걱정(陋와 같은 뜻)은 버리며,
戚謝歡招(척사환초) 슬픔(慽과 같은 뜻으로 慽으로 씌인 책도 있음)은 끊고 즐거움은 부른다.
渠荷的歷(거하적력) 도랑에 핀 연꽃은 역력히 아름답고
園莽抽條(원망추조) 동산의 풀은 더부룩 가지는 죽죽 뻗어난다.
