영어 담당인 이성만 선생님께서 영예의 금상을 차지하셨다.
안경 속에 빛나는 두 눈빛이
kal처럼 예리하고 빛난다고 느껴왔는데
결국은 일을 저지르셨다.
제목은 <삶의 저편>으로 삶의 원초적 질감이 묻어나는 느낌이다.
더구나 긴 겨울방학을 온통 지구 저편 아프리카를 헤집고 다니셨으니
그 열정과 강단에 비하면 수상은 당연한 일이라 생각된다.
"금상 이성만씨의 <삶의 저편>은 적갈색의 황토와 피부에서 이색적인 분위기를 물씬 느낄 수 있었다. 더욱이 소녀의 눈에서 강한 메시지를 감지할 수 있었기 때문에 시선이 압도됐다."
