한국을 대표하는 예술인은 누구?
국내 문화계 인사들은 박경리 오태석 강수진 백남준 정명훈 임권택씨를한국을 대표하는 예술인으로 꼽았다.
이는 EBS 문화프로그램 ‘Inside Culture 문화 문화인’이 문학 무대예술 미술 음악 영화 5개 분야 전문가 326명에게 각 분야 대표 예술인을 물은 결과에 따른 것이다.
문학 분야에선 뛰어난 작품성과 뚜렷한 역사관으로 높은 점수를 받은 작가 박경리(20.0%)가 대표 문학인으로 뽑혔으며 신경림, 고은, 김춘수 등이 뒤를 이었다. 무대예술 분야에선 한국을 대표하는 무대예술인으로 극작가이자 연극연출가인 오태석씨와 발레리나 강수진씨가 각 8.3%의 응답을 얻어 선정됐다. 음악 분야에선 지휘자 정명훈씨가 가장 많은 36.6%를 얻었다. 이어 소프라노 조수미, 피아니스트 백건우, 바이올리니스 정경화 등의 순으로 꼽혔다. 미술 분야에선 비디오 아티스트 백남준씨(45.3%)에 이어 이우환 일본 다마미술대학 교수와 박서보 홍익대학교 명예교수등이 선정됐다.
영화계 전문가들은 한국을 대표하는 영화인으로 임권택 감독(44.1%)을 꼽았고 이어 강우석 감독과 배우 안성기, 이창동 감독 등의 순으로 지목했다.
