그리고
우람하고 깨끗한 주정부 건물을 관광하며
잠시 휴식을 취했습니다.
안이사장님과 죠샙 김회장님의 안내에 따라
올림피아 중앙장로교회에 들러 식사를 하고
군산영광여자고등학교(교장 구이완) 학생들의
합창 공연을 보았습니다.
고달프고 힘든 이민생활에 큰 힘이 되겠구나 하는 생각을 했습니다.
여기는 밤 1시이지만
고국은 내일 낮 오후 5시이겠군요.
가족을 생각하며 포도주 한잔하고 이틀 동안 이루지 못한
잠을 청할까 합니다.

가실때 잘 다녀오시라고 인사말도 못 전했는데..미안스러워 어쩐다요...
어제는 오랜간만에 서실에 가서 와석샘, 윤~샘을 뵙고 서실식구들 대표로 스승님께 안부말씀 전하라는 특명(?)을 받았습니다.
여름날 장마빗속에서도 여기 서실은 붓 한자루 종이 한장 모두 그자리에 그대로 있습니다. 우리 스승님을 자랑스러워 하는 늙은 제자들의 웃음소리도 함께 여전합니다. 내내 건강한 모습으로 모든 행사의 중심속에서 빛을 발하고 오시기를 기원하며 늙은 제자 이만 물러납니다.
