김생굴<경북 봉화 청량산>
김생굴에는 재미있는 전설이 전해온다. 옛날 김생이 이 굴에서 9년동안 서도를 닦은 후, 스스로 명필이라 자부하고 하산할 준비를 했다고 한다. 그러자 한 여인이 나타나 자신도 9년동안 길쌈을 했으니 솜씨를 겨뤄보자고 한다. 이리하여 컴컴한 어둠 속에서 서로 솜씨를 겨루었는데 길쌈해 놓은 천은 한 올 흐트러짐이 없는데 반해 김생의 글씨는 엉망이었다. 이에 김생은 다시 1년을 더 정진한 후 세상에 나와 명필이라 칭송을 받게 되었다는 이야기이다.
