바튼 기침으로 새벽을 가르며
네 애비의 애비는
자식보다 애틋한
곤히 잠든 너를 보며
또 멀리 떠날 널 생각해
새쌀밥 한끼 해먹이려고
재너머 정미소로 갔다
한줄기 빛이 가른 지친 새벽을 이고
널 보며 미소짓는 네 아비의 어미는
검푸른 몸을 추스리며
네 애비의 애비를 닮아 매운 것을 먹고싶어 하는
너보다 더 붉은
고추를 따러 가셨다.
너보다 더 애틋한
네 아이가 지금의 너처럼 누워 있고
나보다 더 붉은 불덩이를 가슴에 가진 너가
그보다 짙은 삶을 살더라도
하얀 잿더미 아래
더 붉어 검어진
네 애비의 불덩이를 삭힐 수 있을까
노을보다 붉은 아침이 온다
하얗게 붉어서 눈부신 모습으로
분홍짙은 네 입술같은 나팔꽃의 모습을 하고
밤새 울어 붉어진 눈시울에 묻은
사랑보다 짙은 그리움으로
하루가 밝아온다
