텅 빈 오후가 놓여 있다.
전화 한 통 없는 적막함,
편안하다.
당신을 내려놓고
시간도 내려 놓는다.
몸이 좀 아프지만
괜잖다.
전화기 저 쪽
당신은 비교적 평온해 보였다.
마음이 놓인다.
잠깐 휑한 바람이 허파 근처를 후볐지만
견딜만 하다.
누구도 깊이 사랑할 수 없었던 당신의
압축된 생이 밀려왔다,
밀려가면 어김없이 노을이 짙어졌다.
왜 그 동안 텅 빈 오후를 두려워했던가?
마약처럼 그리운 당신.
허나 육신도 벗어 놓고 걸어가야 할 길목에서
잠시 서성거리며 쓸쓸함
툭툭 털어내며 텅 빈 오후는
텅 빈 저녁으로 갈 것이고
오늘도 어김없이 나는
하루를 꼬박 살아낸 것이다.
