제 전시회 주제입니다.
| 산스크리트의 프라지냐(prajñā), 팔리어의 판냐(paññā)의 음사(音寫). 불교에서 팔정도(八正道)·사제(四諦)·육바라밀(六波羅蜜) 등을 수행함으로써 현현(顯現)하는 진실한 지혜를 말한다. 처음에는 분석적 판단능력에서 출발하나 다음 단계에서 이를 뛰어넘어 모든 존재를 전체적으로 한순간에 파악하는 직관지(直觀知)이며 깨달음의 지혜라고 한다. 이 말은 초기 대승불교경전인 《반야경》에 나오며 거기에서는 반야의 지혜에 의해 부처의 경지를 얻으므로 ＜불모(佛母)＞라고 불린다. 그것은 존재를 실체로 보고 집착하려는 것으로부터 벗어남으로써 얻을 수 있는 근원적 이성(理性)이다. |
