아직 세상에 물들지 않았다.
마음 밭을
꿈 많은 붓 쟁기로 갈아 나가자
뿌려지는 씨앗은 글씨란 이름으로 싹튼다.
묵향(墨香)은 미묘한 법향(法香)이 되어
천지를 진동하더니
펼 포布, 덕 덕德, 베풀 시施, 은혜 혜惠 네 글자가 피었구나.
널리 덕을 펴고 은혜를 베풀라는 말씀.
베푸는 자(施者)도 받는 자(受者)도,
그리고 베푸는 것(施物)도
모두가 본질적으로는 공(空)한 것.
집착하는 마음 없어라.
보시(布施)의 염화미소(拈華微笑)
어쭙잖은 묵화(墨花)는 피고 또 지는데
아직도 몇 봉우리의 산을 넘고
몇 줄기의 강을 건너야
우담바라 피우리.
