10월이 오는데
10월이 요란하게 온다.
추석과 더불어 온 동양이 들썩일 것이다.
신종플루도 명절은 막지 못하리라.
아들로선 맞이인 나는
일찍이 80년대 후반
결혼을 하고부터
시골에 계신 부모님께
서울 구경 시켜 드린다고
그런대로 살아가는 자식 모습 보여드린다고
엄밀히 말하자면
내가 좀 편하자고
역귀성이란 단어를 만들었다.
자식 먹일 지전부리 싸 오시던 그분들도 이젠
저만치
딴 세상에 가 계시고
명절 때와 제삿날에만 영혼으로만 뵌다.
형제자매들도 물론
장손인 우리 집으로 모이기 마련이다.
고생스럽더라도
고향을 찾아가는 연어처럼
귀향을 볼 때마다
나도 가끔은 그 속에 넣고 싶다.
