100년만의 3월 폭설
오늘 같은 이런 대낭만이 국가 총체적 ‘대란(大亂)’이라니 믿어지지 않는다. 어린 시절 이보다 훨씬 더 많은 겨울눈을 분주히 쓸며 부엌길, 정낭길, 삽작길, 나아가 샘터길, 마을길 등을 분주히 내던 마을 사람들이 생각난다. 아이들은 눈싸움을 하거나 무덤이 많은 뒷동산에서 미끄럼 타며 시간가는 줄 몰랐다.
그러나 세상은 많이 바뀌었다. ‘고속도로 날밤 새우기’라니. 모든 매스컴은 앵무새처럼 설해 상황만 읊어대고 있다. 뒷북치는 정부도 안타깝다. 재해 지역 선포하고 돈 대주면 되는 세상이 아닌가.
적어도 어린 시절의 눈은 근심 덩어리가 아니라 천사의 선물이었다
