또 처음에는 손만 빌리고,
몸은 대역으로 하려 했으나,
소생의 동영상 등의 활동을 보고
전격 연기까지 출연해 줄 것을 제의해 왔다.
글씨와 관련된 일이라면 무슨 일이든 못하랴.
선뜻 구두 계약을 하고
대구에 다녀온 다음 날인 월요일 오후에
홍대 앞 스튜디오를 향했다.
아가씨들의 분장이 30분 정도 있었고,
준비해 간 바지, 저고리, 그리고 모시 두루마기를 입고
당화까지 신었다.
영락없는 60 안팎의 반백 노인이었다.
30초 짜리, 그나마 꽤 긴 광고.
카메라 앞에서의 수백 차례에 걸친 연기,
그리 용이하지 않았다.
콘티를 충분히 숙지하지 못했고
촬영팀도 붓글씨를 오브제로 한 촬영을 그리 흔하지 않은 탓인지
금새 밤 열두 점이 쳤다.
연기는 분위기에 젖어 있으니 지루한 줄 몰라도
촬영 감독 및 기사님들의 고충은 이만 저만이 아니었다.
